Fresh From Paris: Gold & Wood!

This week the Eye Studio has been blessed with a shipment of some our favorite frames straight from Paris. Gold & Wood frames are handmade out of exotic wood and buffalo horn farmed in Luxembourg and crafted to exacting standards of quality. These frames have to be tried on to really appreciate the luxurious comfort of natural wood, soft and super lightweight. Today I thought I'd show off a few of our new crushes:

The first frame, codename B14.2, is made of bubinga and gives a great balance of style between the openness of a rimless frame and the thick and chunky top half.

Hiding amongst the reeds of bamboo is B11.2A, an anthracite/aluminum hybrid with a bold modern style that looks even better when you put it on.

In the super-hot sunglass category we have two entries: This one (named H23P) hearkens back to an aviation style with a smart browline wood detail and matching wood temples.

And finally we have an amazing horn/ebony wood combination sunglass (B09.04) with an old-school soul.

There were lots of contenders for photo documentation this time that didn't make the cut, so you really must come by and try these frames on. You'll be glad you did. Also, feel free to check it out at home: Gold & Wood.
